Geography covers a great deal of information. It is the study of the Earth. As you will see, in geography, we will look at the Earth’s place among the planets as well. Geography is normally divided into two major branches. The first is physical geography. Physical geography looks at the land, nature, and location of a specific place. Human geography looks more at the people within a specific area. As you will see, both are important to understand while learning about a place.
